Sorry I did not spot your message until today. There is not a lot of traffic here :-) It would not add the brackets I think. And it looks as if I did not find that particular bit of BBC lore, so I just used the italic indication as used on other formats. Sorry about that. None of the normal functions of WORD are disabled by using the Toolkit, so it should be relatively easy to Highlight the actual text of the parenthesis and then from the fonts menue choose to capitalize it. Menue->Format ->Fonts -> allcaps Shortcut is Alt-O followed by F followed by Alt-A As a Newbie writer you should only use parenthesis very sparingly anyway else you upset the actors by "telling them what to do".
