By I can't add a new character
Bill GB Edit MessageUploaded - 17 Nov 2001 03:24

Hi Bill,
What's the latest version of the prog ? I have Word2000 and it works but I couldn't add a new character after I started the script, any way round this?

I am studying for an MA in writing and want to write for radio and screen.

Drop down the Edit Menu and select "Names of People".

Other "Toolbar" features are on the Format Menu.

Word 97/2000 versions will be posted on the web site soon.

Thanks for the templates Bill, you have saved me a lot of time and money. I'm in the final year of an MA in writing at JMU University in Liverpool and will honour the agreement in the software you have supplied for free. You don't get much for free these days on the net, you used to get a lot more,
and it used to be a lot better.

How do you think you could wind the clock back Bill to make the internet like it used to be, say ten years ago? The level of IRC was better and the place had a better feel to it. When it got easier and easier to get on-line the quality dropped.

Look forward to hearing your response.

Dear Bill,

Thanks for your message.

I expect to be setting up a discussion forum on my website in the near future. There will be one section assigned to support for users of the Scripting templates, where you will be able to post questions etc. Normally I will respond myself, but other users will also be able to chip in if they wish.

The messages will remain on display indefinately, so that newcomers can look to see if their problem has already been answered.

I think I will add a forum called "The Pub" or similar, where esoteric/rhetorical questions such as your clock-winding paragraph can be posted and discussed.
