Bill,

For some reason, word 2000 can't find any of the macros ion the Radio4 script template. I don't know how to check whether the macros are there....

Make sure that you put the templates where Word can find them as Templates, i.e they should be visible in the File..New...dialog box.

Test first with a brand new script, i.e. do File New... select the radio4.dot & try that.

If you wish to connect an existing script to the new template, open the script, then use the Tools menu: select Templates and Add-ins, then Attach your script to the radio4.dot template.

I can't enable the macros. Also, after clicking FILE/NEW I do not have a tab called SCRIPTS. I am running WORD2000. What am I doing wrong? Can you email back or shall I ring you?

Try the procedure detailed in the "Windows 2000.doc", which is in the ZIP file of the toolkit. This should work even on Windows 95/98/me/NT4

Dear Tony,

I'm sorry, but I can't think what else you could have done to make that go wrong.

Try experimenting with placing a single one of my .DOT files into those folders on your computer which contain existing *.dot files, until you find the right one. Then create the scripts sub-folder there & put all of them in there.

To find existing folders, press the Start button then select Find. then Files & Folders. Put *.dot in the field called Named and click Find Now. When you see the list of files ending in .dot, drag the splits of the column headings sideways so that you can see the full name of the folders.

If you reply to this message please give details of
(a) which kind of computer
(b) which version of Windows
(c) which template you are trying
