Dear Richard, Sorry to have taken some time to respond. Thank you for the information on the BBC script styles. The password on the macros is there to protect my copyright in the design of the templates and I regret that I am unwilling to relinquish control. The spacing and colours can be changed by modifying the tab positions, indent positions and colour properties of the Styles called Name, Dialogue and Directions, but it is not possible to alter every aspect without re-writing some of the macros. Click the Show/Hide Paragraph icon to see where the macros generate tabs etc. For the underlined Sound Fx style you would need to change the indent, then when your script is nearly ready do a global replace of Fx: by F/X: tab. I aim to produce a re-written set of templates for Office-2000, Office-98 (Macintosh) and Office-XP at some stage, but have no time table yet. At that time I will incorporate the new BBC script styles. Bill
