That would [b]not[/b] be a good idea. It would be best to continue using the old template for that script. The keystroke & macro engine of the Version 5 templates is completely different from the Version 4 and earlier ones. So the fields planted in your script for character names etc are different between the versions and would not match up. After attaching to the new version template, you would have to set up the character list again and then go through every dialogue, deleting the old name and pressing the new key combination of the character. The main reason for this change in the way the engine works was for better reliability, users were prone to altering the character list in the crib sheet instead of via the button, which then made things not work properly. The new engine uses an invisible method of holding the character names and the crib sheet is ancillary rather than essential to the way the new toolkit works. Bill
