Dear Jo My scripting templates do indeed use macros, to perform the handy keystroke functions. Provided that you downloaded the templates from my website and haven't received them from an unsavoury source, I assure you that these macros are harmless. You may wish to disable macros again at times when you are not working on scripts. Which version of Microsoft Word are you using? Yours Bill Williams PS: I just checked on the message you described; clicking Enable Macros does so only for that occasion for that file, so ignore my sentence "You may wish to disable macros again at times when you are not working on scripts." in my last email PS: If you install the templates correctly so that you use the File Menu of Word, then New the anti virus message shouldn't appear anyway.
