Kerio Personal Firewall is a good tool and is free of charge for personal use. To obtain it go to http://www.kerio.com/kpf_download.html [[a]http://www.kerio.com/kpf_download.html[/a]] And click the download link: Windows * English 2.0 MB [b][blue]Download![/blue][/b] Save the file to disk in say your "My Documents" folder. When the download is complete, select the [OPEN] button on the download completed message box. If you leave it until later, open the folder in which you saved the file and then double click it. {the version at time of writing this is called kerio-pf-2.1.5-en-win.exe Installation is straight-forward, (1)Click [Next] on the welcome screen (2)Put a dot in "I Agree" on the Licence screen and click [NEXT] (3)Click [NEXT] on the location screen (4)A box will come up to tell you that Kerio Personal Firewall will begin in learning mode. Click [OK] (5)Then it will ask to reboot. Click [FINISH] Configuring it to run is a bit tedious, see below. More instructions will appear in messages below as I construct them. Bill.
