Beware, because those nasty virus creators, will make use of Christmas cheer. They deliberately create viruses which have Christmas names like Snow White, or Snowman, or LogFire etc, etc. They will rely on the fact that many people will send little movies and animated Christmas Cards etc, which you might activate and viruses will steal your friends address books, so that viruses can arrive from your friends, family and business contacts. Sad though it is you have to be extra vigilant over Christmas.
+------------------------------------------+ ! ! ! NEVER open an attachment which comes ! ! by email, unless you are expecting it ! ! to arrive, by prior arrangement. ! ! ! ! Don't open it even if it comes from ! ! a friend's email address and seems to ! ! be a Christmas greeting. ! ! ! ! If a real friend sends one, send him ! ! or her an email to ask if they sent ! ! an attachment, tell them you will not ! ! open it until they confirm that it is ! ! not a virus. ! ! ! +------------------------------------------+
Bill
